Rear wiper?
The rubber on my original VW rear wiper has started to come away from itself, causing a pour wipe.
I've got Bosch 980S on the front & they're superb but can only find this one for the rear - http://bit.ly/zcwWSz" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Does anyone have any alternatives? Cheaper places to buy the Bosch?
Thanks

Re: Rear wiper?
When I replaced mine, dealer price (for OEM) was about £7 - I was surprised it was so low.

Re: Rear wiper?
Thanks everyone, I've superglued it for now and will see how that holds up. Is the Bosch noticeably better than OEM?
Re: Rear wiper?
I wouldn't say so. What I find makes most difference is keeping the rear window squeaky clean. My first blade started juddering on the return wipe and I thought it was perished, when the 2nd did the same I replaced with a Bosch one - it was going the same way until I cleaned the rear window thoroughly.discowill wrote:Thanks everyone, I've superglued it for now and will see how that holds up. Re: Rear wiper?
Thanks everyone, picked up an OEM version for £7odd today, I can't see how the bosch would improve the wipe.
Yes I've noticed the same, I use Auto Glym Fast Glass and keeps the blade and glass super clean. Thanksayeaye wrote: I wouldn't say so. What I find makes most difference is keeping the rear window squeaky clean.
