Dripping water?

Post by Deacon »

Just been to the supermarket after work (15 min drive), shopped (about 20 mins) then drove home (about 5 mins). Went out to the car about 15 minutes after getting home to find a puddle of water merrily dripping from the front of the front drivers side wheel arch. Put a little on my finger and it definitely seems to be water. Checked under the bonnet and all fluids are present and correct so I presume it's condensation of some sort?

Any one had this or know something else it might be that I've missed?

Been raining today down your way?

Parked it on the outer end of your drive on the slope?

Maybe just rainwater rolling off cos the angle is steeper.

Nope, no rain plus I'd done a good 10 miles from work to home and it didn't rain in between so any from earlier would surely have gone? Very strange.

I took a picture earlier but couldn't upload it, hopefully it'll work now.

There was just a little more water than this then it stopped.

could it be a leaking washer bottle? maybe a small crack that will take a while to change the visible water level.

I did wonder this so checked and nothing.

Seems that it really was some water that had got trapped somewhere and came out when I came to a standstill. There has been no trace of anymore since so I think I'll just file it under bizarre accurances! :)

Mine does it when I park on the driveway slope. :)

No slope on the drive here though. I just don't get how the water had stayed in the car for about 10 miles as it hadn't rained here all day and there weren't any puddles around to drive through!

Just bizarre
