Trading in a mark 6 GTI. for a Scirocco R.

Planning the following spec - Red ,Manual , Sunroof , Leather , Dynaudio , 19’s alloys
Folding wing mirrors that’s about it. Xenon’s come as standard – is it the ones that turn with the wheel ? Could not do without them now after having them on the Golf

Anyone know if you can change the silver for piano black in the interior ? Also is there anything important I should add to my list of options. I know the DSG is good but I am happy to stick with the manual.

Is the ride sill up to scratch on 19’s ( British roads )

Any other information appreciated

The Xenon's do not turn, a function cornering is provided by the static side lights at low speed only. Piano black trims are not an option.

As above for the xenons , I think you will find that the GTi worked in the same way also albeit it used the front fogs?, ps you mention wanting a red one ?, as far as I am aware they don't do R's in red !, also if you want silver trim you can just buy it yourself and put it in , I don't see why you would though as that's sets the R aside from other models !, if you really wanted to then I am sure somebody would swop with you.

Oh and to your options list I would add reverse sensors and colour MFD, oh and cruise control if it's something you would use.

The Golf GTI xenon's do indeed turn, Golf R ones don't..

As already mentioned the R doesnt come in Red. Though it would look good in Red so they screwed up. I agree and would also reccommend the Rear Parking Sensors. The other options you have said are all ace. Any cheap options might be a good idea as mine didnt have the folding mirrors and a quote to have them fitted afterwards was over a £1000. Bit of a Joke . so get it right and You will love the Car.
