Hi All,

some pictures of my rocco as promised.

Have to say I'm loving it. :hyper:

Really pleased I went for the blue as It looks great with the sun on it and at dusk.

I drove an Alfa GTV (11years old) before getting this so it's some change!!!

I love the pic of your rear (ooo er!), THAT is why I love the Scirocco and want one so badly, I love the rear of it (and the front, and the side, and the inside.....!!!)

Yep shure did! The longer I waited the more things I added .Then when the VAT dropped I added Leather!

Mine looked just like those pics when I picked it up yesterday. Now it's considerably muckier after an early morning blast around the Gower peninsular.I am trying to run her in but it's so much fun to drive i've had to give it a bit of welly to overtake the local peasants! :lol:

Congrats Mate!!!

As far as the running in, my dealer told me just drive as you would normally but try to avoid going into the red on the rev counter for the first 1000 miles!

Mines done about 250 miles now, still feels a bit tight but pulls really strong and plenty of torque. Had it on the motorway yesterday and at 80 (ish) was getting good mpg figures.

The only thing I can't get my head around is the Auto lights, when its really sunny the lights still seem to want to be on? Any ideas?

The scirocco has DLRs (daylight running lights) which means the headlights come on automatically whenever the engine is on. From other forum threads it seems very difficult to switch them off.....although you can just use side lights.
