bye bye scirocco

Post by law4778 »

well thanks to everyone that replied to my posts but im off as i ve canceled my scirocco due to coming to my senses on the practicality side and thought the novailty would wear off with carting 2 kids in and out of the back (and having to wait until march), so gone to audi and ordered an A4 s line 2.0T 211ps 0-62 6.9 secs co2 emmisions 154g at the docks and and will be ready next friday and for a 28k car and better performance will cost me 24quid less a month in company car tax.

I am moving in the opposite direction...
I have an A4 2.0 TSi Quattro S Line Special Edition 220 BHP 0-60 7.4 seconds 222 g CO2/Km
It's just that most of the time I'm the only one in my car and don't see the point in lugging all that metal around.

My children fit perfectly in the back of a Scirocco :D

Enjoy the A4 though - they are great cars.

Horses for courses and all that ..

If I wasn't getting a Scirocco I would definitely have got an Audi maybe the A5 but I’m sure the A4 would have also been up there due to its competitive price over a 3 series BMW, although the new Merc C class gives the A4 good competition however I think like the last model its a little crammed in the back.

I think BMW will have to improve the 3 series very soon as the new shaped A4's have been selling like hot cakes.

A4 good choice overall.
