Head light washer cap

Hi all,

My drivers side headlight washer cap recently came off. Don't know why. Anyway managed to get a replacement one from VW, however is there supposed to be another part that attaches to the cap before it is fitted onto the bumper. I'm assuming that there should be as otherwise it would just fly off when the headlight washer is activated.

Has anyone else had this issue, please advice.

I would assume it's the same as the Golf and it just clips onto the part that shoots out. It's common for the clips to break off
