I like the comeraderie thing with same make vehicles.
I have a Defender 90,and always wave and get waved back,T3 owners always acnowledge each other, and when out in my 964,other 911 drivers always acnowledge.
I'll see what response I get when I pickup the Roc next week.

Too many Company Car bobs round here, so I don't bother. Seriously, you can NEVER miss my Scirocco, I would wave back if I saw you doing whatever lol.

But yeah, on the Motorway (M6 J14 - J8) and it's surrounding areas WS postcodes, it's getting full of them. All Diesel's it seems too.

Did VW really sell that many Rocco's? Or did they not and just massaged the figure to include bashing them on as company cars, cos it's all "suit and tie" drivers now who just look bored in there cars / with life in general.

These days not everyone in a suit and tie is driving a company car! I do 7000 business miles a year in my Scirocco (in a suit and tie) and, yes, when I'm on my rare motorway journeys I am bored!

There was a link between boredom and failing reflexes / reactions. You wanna watch that.

Yes, I do and so far I'd day about 25% wave back.

When I drove "real" Minis (Austin / BL / Rover) the response rate was a lot higher.

Ive passed many roc owners in the past two weeks since picking mine up and none of them seem bothered in the slightest, not even a glance from most.

I have not yet spotted a modded one on my travels, maybe then it'll be different.

If you drive a unique/ odd/ weird/ rare car then it almost comes naturally to acknowledge a person who has a similarly discerning choice. I got it a lot when driving an Alfa (when they were very unique- and a brave choice!)

Frankly, ( and I love mine and its a great looking car ) Sciroccos are 2 a penny now, even starting to blend into the background, and waving will just mark you out as someone to avoid.........I try not to even make eye contact!

Shed loads down the M6 midlands area. Always. Only ever seen 3 Green Roc's. Maybe 4.

Pulling out of my road tonight, got my first flash from another 'roc going in the opposite direction. :)

It didn't register at first, so if it was someone on here, sorry for not flashing back!
