My Candy R + MODS

Awesome looking car mate!

Agreed with you on the Michelin Super Sport. Best street tyres I ever use.

Also had a Milltek non-resonated. Didn't like it. Very noisy and droney. Took it off after 1 week.

Cheers dude!

Not much time and effort gets spent on developing the Milltek and it shows!

Oh forgot to mention. I really really like your seats. Don't have the balls myself to rock the red leather but looks mint, mate! And the carbon fibre back? Absolute porn. Not to mention those seats are a lot lighter than the OEM Motorsport seats.
Brilliant.

Question, does the seat slides forward when you fold it to the front and slides back to the set position when you pull it back like the original seat?

yes you can fold the seat forward like oem, although it may not fold quite as much due to the larger bolsters. however, you have to manually slide the seat forward using the main lever infront of the seat, rather than the seat sliding using the tilt function. but not much of a problem as i hardly have anyone in the back.

yeh the carbon backs are lovely, well worth it! i usually have seat covers on the fronts to protect them if its day to day use, then take them off and enjoy the red for social visits etc. works quite well!

Spoiler is from VW, got it painted black as opposed to white to match the wing mirrors. could get it wrapped but didn't think it would turn out as nice.

Roof was wrapped from Surrey Vinyl wrap. £80, bargain.

yeh Revo is coming on mine eventually. APR is the 8th wonder of the world, you won't regret that!!

Thanks for the info Strat,

Hopefully going to get the mods done next month! Did you get your exhaust fitted from JKM? Would you recommend them?
Going to get wheels changed next year when I have enough ££££!
And one last Q, are your VW badges painted or did you get them wrapped?

Yep, def recommend JKM. The exhaust wasn't originally designed for the Scirocco (mk6 Golf GTI), they did mine so know how it all needs fitting etc, couple of slight adjustments. Give em a ring.

Car mods are annoyingly expensive, what wheels you getting?

VW badges are painted. being so small and intricate, wrapping could pose naff in the long term. hence i painted them.

happy to help. where you based? welcome to listen to my exhaust if your not far away to help, 'convince' you! haha

I will give them a call next week & see when they can fit me in. How long did you have to wait for yours to be ordered?

I am based in Birmingham so it not exactly local, but I do take your word for it. Car looks awesome & I bet it sounds just as good.

I am going to go for one the BBS range maybe the CH-R 19" not sure which ones to go for yet. But they defo will be black :)
Going to wait till next year before I get it lowered & new wheels.

I might pop around once I have my exhaust fitted.

takes 4 - 6 weeks i think as its from USA.

i might have got the CH-R myself, but kinda forgot about them when ordering the CHs. oh well. i do like the aluminium lip around the edge, best bit.

haha if you popped over with your exhaust it might cause an earthquake! haha gotta be done!

hello nice pics and apr exhaust look very great

what exhaust has more loud sound milltek or apr ? and inside the apr is better ? the apr have more racing sound and milltek sound than "lowcost tunning cars" ?

with the apr cat back the oem middle silencer is not deleted ? with milltek yes ?

i think the APR is louder, and certainly has more character. obv the outside sound translates into what its like inside, but its a treat for sure. bit like a racecar and certainly not subtle when accelerating. however cruising on the motorway etc its quiet and no drone.

the apr is supplied as a full system typically.

dont know about the milltek, but think it might be, there's certainly no back-box on the milltek. to get the full benefit of its acoustic strengths etc you'd need the full system.

hope that helps!

The super sports are the 'best' tyre in dry conditions and do an admirable job in the wet. i personally dont drive hard in the wet anyway so that's fine for me. but in the dry they are untouchable.

But, according to your opinion, on wet the michelin are similiar to the potenza, right? My choise is between PZero and the Michelin Pilot super sport. Help me to choose :D

It's partially matter of opinion of course. but... the michelin's are the best in the dry when you really want performance and also have the side effect of looks really good on the car. so get the michelins and win

Having gone from potenza's to super sports I can't recommend the super sports enough as a summer tyre. They are tbh not so good in the cold however.
