The R cost around 70 000 pounds in norway, and i would be looking at something like 3000pounds for insurence per year.. My car was like 40 000 quid, so no, i shouldnt have bought the R

Looking good! Were the R front brakes a straight swap? Whats the improvement in braking like?

Re: My Black Oak Brown '11 - Big update 03.08!
Thanks guys, really appreciate it Well, the car stops alot faster now, its quite an improvement, but i guess i swapped them most for the looks.. They are a straight swap, i bought them of some guy from spain on ebay, they were brand new and i was told that i got everything i needed, i got the heatshields, calipers and discs, but after a couple of failed attempts to mount them i had to order some parts from vw norway like new brake lining, brackets etc.. Btw, i still havnt changed the rear brakes, so it will be interesting to see if that will improve the braking even moreharryc wrote:Looking good! Were the R front brakes a straight swap?
