Re: scirocco on my tomtom
You should be able to access it through your Tomtom.
In Tomtom Home app. go to Add Traffic, Voices and Cams. and then go to Images and Icons. Car symbols are listed in there.
I haven't hooked up to it for a while but there were at least a couple of Roc images you can use last time I looked.

Also I've got this splash screen when the tomtom is switched on.
The file can be found here http://www.sciroccocentral.co.uk/forum/ ... ash#p17841" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Re: scirocco on my tomtom
Anyone with a Blue Roc I can send you mine via email. Its a R20 image I got of the net and with a bit of Photoshopping made my own.
Did this a few months ago - the wife thinks I'm sad - my boy/me thinks its cool!

Re: scirocco on my tomtom
I know this is an old thread but I have recently bought a White Scirocco and a TomTom 1005. Is there any chance I can get the image of the white Scirocco? I am currently using a blue one!
Thanks
Thanks

I got my white Scirocco from the TomTom website so you should be able to find one on there.

I presume you mean the TomTom Home software unfortunately the 1005 doesen't use the Home software and has no access to that content.Ian_Mac wrote:I got my white Scirocco from the TomTom website so you should be able to find one on there.
I need the actual image to upload it manually.
Thanks

Ah right I see, so you need the actual file emailing over then.
I'll see if I can get it off my unit.

I've now got the bmp image on my laptop, do you want it emailing over, is there anything else you need to get it working on yours?

Re: scirocco on my tomtom
Hey 'rocket, that's just so cool - I never thought of looking into the innards of my Tomtom.
Ten minutes of fiddling around with MS-Paint on a rear-end shot of my car, and it's on-screen.
Thanks for the guidance everyone !
