Most impractical car I've ever owned

I know I've only had the Roc for just over a day, but it is the impractical car I've ever owned. We've put a Hatchbag bespoke boot liner in the boot, which I will highly recommend, for our beloved Cocker Spaniel. The boot is her domain. That means that coats, shopping, etc will have to go on the back seats. Seats have to go forward to get the shopping in and out. Totally impractical.

To hell with it. We love the car.

Lol... Its not a shoppers car or dog owners car. Get a station wagon if u want to do tht sort of thing.

It is the most practical impractical car you can buy, in my opinion!

Errrr - so why didn't you buy a 4 door car if you knew you would be putting shopping and stuff on the back seats. That issue would be the same with any 2/3 door car.

For me its a very good compromise - I get beautiful coupé styling with a pretty good usable boot and 2 proper full size back seats (not like the TT or the Mini) Love it !

Oh dear, my sense of humour seems to have ruffled a few feathers. So lets set the record straight and I'll give the good and bad points of our Scirocco.

The good:
I love the colour, really suits the car.
Driving position is easy to achieve and comfortable, although not to have lumbar support as standard is not a good decision.
Ride. Really suprising, especially in comfort. We have a stretch of road which we have to use daily. The template of the road must have been taken from a scrotum. My Volvo was very jittery over it. The Rocco glides, big thumbs up.
One of the main complaints of the Rocco is reversing. No problems with those fat rear wheel arches it's easy to position. I'm an old HGV driver and always park or reverse using the wing mirrors.
The boot is suprisingly big. Coming from a Volvo estate I though the Cocker, Mali, would be cramped. She actually has more room in the Rocco than in her crate in the back of the Volvo.
I love the touch screen radio, good sound for standard.
I could go on but I'm sure you all now them.

Now for the bad points.
It's rained every day since I've picked it up.

hi i must have been the only one that read the small print at the bottom of your post and got it!!! must be an hgv thing. glad to see your getting on with the car we are coming from a volvo s40 which has lumber support so i know that may be a problem for the misses but she did have quite a road test to make sure it was ok
we have the boot reserved for henry pug who has had to be proped up on the folded rear seat in his pod lashed to the rear luggage hooks so a great iprovment for him soon. as for shopping we have a very nice man with an orange van that deliveres. all the best
