The problem with a Megane Renaultsport 265 Trophy is in 6 to 8 months Renault are bound to a 265R version that's even more mental. :)

Are you mental ? lol I love the Rocco R its a great Car, but to say I'd have one over a 1M would be a lie. FR over FF any day. I'm still loving every min I drive the TT RS, just went to my Mum's and back 20 mins away got over 33mpg just driving normally.

The Modding has started too lol.

Some Engine Bling

And I've had the Mirror fuel cap and rear spoiler support painted to match the finish on the wheels.

I've Ordered a OSIR CF spoiler for the back, doesnt look like I'll have it in time for inters though.

Looking forward to seeing some of you @ inters again this year. Hope to see what Chugster can do down the strip this year in his tuned beastie. The Rocco R's were beaten in there class last year by the VR6 Forced induction Corrados ( I was runner up behind one on sunday :P) hope this year they will be put in there place :)

Well, that's you. But I'd take an R any day. I love speed as much as the next guy, but it's not all about "I'd trash him at the next lights" etc.

Those Corrado's are gorgeous cars. Sometimes I think the Scirocco should of come back as the Corrado, but I guess the PR spin wouldn't of been as easy. lol.

BTW. Each time I see your TTRS. I want. Stop it.

I've ordered a Rear CF spoiler from the TT Shop. I think I'll go miltek secondary cat delete and stage 1 Revo map, 410bhp ish for starters. Then work on IC, suspension, ARB's, and brake upgrades b4 getting a bigger Turbo.
Probably do all my Cosmetic mods and Audio b4 I start tuning it as the stock 340hp and 450nm is plenty for me to be getting usted to atm.
Shame your not doing the Sprint this year was looking forward to you trying to beat my 0-60 in 5.2 sec in a Rocco R. Will any of the Tuned Rocco R's be going down the strip this year ?

Which TSI engine lol ? :P My thinking last year was that more power would not have improved my 0-60 time, the Car already has more power than you can put down from a standing start. It would ofc help the 1/4 mile time.
So I would say it depends on the suspension set up of the stage 2 TSI as well. lets hope at least 1 of the 2 days is dry.

given mines manual and we got 5.56 using a vbox at brunters running the other way on the runway two up and not using the mickey mouse timing set up at inters, i think there are a couple of people on this forum with dsg who have the ability to beat that imho

I don't doubt it for a sec, I was doing it to get a rise out of Chugster  He kept telling me that my Car was A mapped and B the timing equipment was know to be dodgy, I was cheating because I had DSG etc etc last year :P

Haha

U bettered VWs own time by 0.6 secs! That's some going for a "stock" car

Personally I reckon the timing was dodgy on that run

All 450 1M's in UK have been accounted for, and no more are planned.
