Stream music through RCD 510 with Bluetooth

Hi,

I'm confused about a minor detail. It seems as if, I have to get the media in cable for my iPhone, in order to play music on the car stereo from my phone. Is that right? I would think the Bluetooth upgrade should do that job??

The Bluetooth option supports audio over Bluetooth your mileage may vary in terms of supported handsets. however MDI offers a better audio path. An iPod/pad/phone compatible lead is included with MDI which should be a no cost option on a UK GT.

Just talked with the sales-guy today.. Apparently the 2012 models will have audio streaming through bluetooth. Which is brilliant! This saves me money since I won't have to get the Mobile Comfort package.

I have a 2010 with a 2011 RNS 510 and it plays audio over the bluetooth fine also
