Anyone had problems with the wipers leaving a small quadrant of dried crap in the bottom middle of the screen after using the washers. Seems like incomplete wipe, blades look OK and properly set up, washer jets look normal.
Just a small thing thats driving me nuts

Thanks guys, searched for the windscreen smear post and duly studied.
Might give the glass a bit of a clean with the appropriate glass cleaner to see if it improves otherwise back to the dealers. Perhaps its portuguese olive oil (LOL)?

Re: Windscreen Wipers
I have had 2 new drivers side blades and still get smears.
Oh and the passenger side smears the top 3-4 inches, leaves that horrible whiteish smear from salt residue. Not sure what the answer is, Perhaps the blades do not push against the screen enough but their design is strange in that they rely on their natural curve. Increasing the arm pressure would have the effect of causing the blade to leave the screen at the ends. I put it down to bad design, roll on the summer when they are not needed very much.

Re: Windscreen Wipers
It appears to be a design fault. I get the smear in the centre of the screen about 3 to 4 inches above the bottom of the screen itself. A quick wipe along the blade with a clean damp cloth sorts it for a little while.

I had a smear at the '11 o clock' position on the drivers side - was bloody annoying so got the dealer to fit a new arm and it seems to have stopped. The passenger side one they said they could do nothing about however..
