Scirocco 1.4TSI - Black Oak - Now on 19x9 Savannahs
Hi. Been two months since i picked up my scirocco from a volkswagen dealer in Oslo, Norway. And i have ofcourse enjoyed every minute with it since!
From the factory, the order looked something like this:
2011 1.4TSI Manual gearbox
Black Oak Brown Metallic
- GT Package (GT-interior, alu pedals, black trim on vents, 18" interlagos etc.)
- Bi-Xenon with autofunction
- Multifunction steeringwheel and cruisecontrol
- Panorama sunroof
- RCD 510 with media in and bluetooth for phone
- Reversing sensor or w/e its called.
This is what ive done so far:
- H&R 35mm lowering springs
- Replaced almost all the standard bulbs with LED's
- TSW Nurburgring matte bronze 19x8 ET45 as summerwheels
- Black trim around the RCD as in the Scirocco R
More to come
Some pictures.
From the very first day, just got home after i picked it up at the dealer.
Just a random pic taken in Oslo.
A shot of the interior with the replaced centertrim.
Springs arrived.
Testing the TSW's while mounting the springs.
After the lowering, looks alot better!
And finally, a shot taken some hours ago at Holmenkollen with Oslo in the background!
More to come!

Re: My Black Oak Brown '11
@maxreaction, as quick as possible, been calling around to the local wheel and tireshops, but theyre all out of 235 35 19 tires , and the ones who have seem to overprice them, so i'll stick with the wintertires for a few weeks more ;( Got some other and bigger plans for the car now though, will post pictures when im done
Re: My Black Oak Brown '11

Re: My Black Oak Brown '11
I dont know how much the piano black is in the uk, here in norway, everything is so expensive the 1.4 160 starts at 32k £ with manual box and 17"s... but i payed something like 50 quid for it.. Was worth it in my opinion though Im not sure about the leds, the vw salesman at the dealer did them for me.. I payed around 80 for all of them :E

Re: My Black Oak Brown '11
ebay.com
Didnt find them at ebay at first, so i was gonna buy them from a us wheelshop, but then i found a guy on ebay who had TSWs and i just mailed him and asked if he had those. Should have orderer another ET though, they are all ET45, but i had them spaced out with 10mms in the front and 15 in the back to make it look good. Turned out great in my opinion though

It's a shame that they are not available in EU. It would be better to get them local and avoid all custom issues...
