New Scirocco TSi

Post by phil_790 »

Hi,

After a wait of about 3 months, my Candy white 160 TSi finally arrived, so far I am very impressed, the car is excellent, such an improvement over my Peugeot 207. As a little bonus, due to a mistake at the dealers/factory, the car has been fitted with the colour multi function display rather than the standard display...the salesman only noticed after I pointed it out and questioned if it was now standard. I have tried to install the MDI update as mentioned in other posts, but got a message of "Update not possible" not too sure why this isnt working, but its not the end of the world, teh MDI is still much better than I have used in the past.

Below is a rather poor quality photo (taken on my phone), the car is a bit filthy as the day after I picked the car up, the weather was lousy when i took it out.

Phil.

Andy,

It will be well worth the wait, I am so impressed with mine. How long have you got left to wait?

Very lucky regarding the MFD. A few of us have had to remove it from our orders due to supply issues with it. my understanding is that VW have removed the option temporarily for all new orders.

Mine was also built during week 13 but it took a long time to arrive at the dealers due to all of the bank holidays.

Have had the car a week and love it, thinks it's definatly a girl though!
