I'm not so sure. After all, besides the alcantara seats, what else is missing from the UK spec?
And as far as rims go, you have them all.

Re: 2011 Changes (MY2012 changes)
I ordered my new Scirocco on Saturday for delivery Sept 1st 2011. There are only wording changes to descriptions, no physical changes to the car planned.

Re: 2011 Changes (MY2012 changes)
Hi all, new to this, Just ordered my VW Scirocco GT 2.0 TDI 170BHP DSG with Parking sensors,Bluetooth, Winter Pack, Premiem Mats and Folding Wing Mirrors. Was told it will be a couple off weeks before i will get a build date and was wondering if the new changes for 2011/2012 will be on mine? Also i ordered it in Salsa red but not sure now. Really like the Rising Blue even though i have had a blue ford focus for the last four years. Havent seen it in blue and was wondering what its like in the flesh. Any reaspones would be great. Brian
Re: 2011 Changes (MY2012 changes)
Hi Brian
These changes are applicable to all UK bound cars from build week 22 so yes you will be getting them, not that there is really anything to gain though.
The salsa is really nice in the flesh but yes the rising blue is also good, take a look in the Delivery Room for example pics

Re: 2011 Changes (MY2012 changes)
Personally not a fan of the Red.... to the point that i opted for a colour I liked over parking sensors to fit in with the budget from work!

Re: 2011 Changes (MY2012 changes)
So no sign of the customary 3 year face lift any time this year then ?RW1 wrote:"Product/Production Maturity" in a nutshell.
Selling well, still some new markets to open up but not the USA, production capacity expansion restricted and saturated.
Won't change much for the next 3 years imo until the Mk4.
It's met VW's initial sales volume expectations very well.

Re: 2011 Changes (MY2012 changes)
Only seeing rumours and they don't hold enough water for me. Latest one puts twinkles on the front with a slightly modified rear with Golf/Polo style rear lights. Wishful thinking.
Mk1 Scirocco (1974 - 1981) - had a minor change. But wouldn't call that a facelift at the time, wrap round bumpers & indicators
Mk2 Scirocco (1981 - 1992) - my 5th from 1990 is the same as my 1st in 1983 apart from a body skirt.
The reason they leave it, is because it is low volume production/payback and have to be careful not to upstage the Golf. The Golf 6 is selling well. This is causing VW a dilemma as whether to delay the Golf 7 and the Scirocco comes first. Ooops.
It will really depend how much time the design team have. They have been busy with the EOS & Sharan/Alhambra. Maybe something will happen now those new models are nearly out of the way. But the Golf point will still preside. I think the design team will now start concentrating on a Mk4 Scirocco design. Just about the right length of time to release a Mk4 in 2013/14. Plus the "others" are starting to copy the Mk3 S. general design features in their coupe model releases, so VW will feel their markets are threatened and thats another driver for a Mk4.
I was personally expecting to change next year but given my low mileage and having to buy like for like, I may be opting down the route of a 2 year extended warranty. Then either buy a run out Mk3 with extra "goodies" or ........ I never buy before 18 months production has elapsed of a new model so this looks like the envitable, "goodies" or not.

Re: 2011 Changes (MY2012 changes)
I just had a look at one of the other links with the Veyron SS. If they do change the headlights to have LED's in them, it would be awesome if they had kinda the same looks as those on the Veyron SS...Just my oppinion! (Even better if it has the same engine aswell lol)

I found a pic of the two new wheel designs.
Lakeville is the large picture, Kent is top right.

It appears as standard on the VW.co.uk features page but I don't know when that came into force best go ask your dealer (take a print out of the page http://www.volkswagen.co.uk/#/new/sciro ... technical/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; )
the smoker pack does tidy up the centre console, but personal choice whether you are that fussed or not, & have to be honest I do not have a clue what you mean by 'fancy looking pedal' if you mean the metal pedal set this is not available through dealers anymore (click for other places people have found them)
speak to your dealer about potential impact of changing your order now, some don't like it & won't allow it at all.
