Massive warning to all roc' owners in the South East London and North Kent areas.
I was just stopped by the local Kent constabulary in Dartford. Apperently there is a gang on "not very nice people" (not my words) CLONING number plates of Roc's, especialy Candies in this area and doing "naughty things" (again not my words) with a White scirocco.
Just a warning to all fellow Roc'ers if they find their plates missing in the morning.

Re: MASSIVE WARNING!!!!!!
Another white roc around here recently, but seen it driven late at night with chav's in other cars following, being driven quite hard. It doesnt add up to me, may just be coincidence. Im near Maidstone, so not far away.
Cheers though

Re: MASSIVE WARNING!!!!!!
The police officer didn't say and I couldn't be bothered to ask, as I was at the end of my road and it was about 1 in the morning and I wanted my bed. Lol. But my guess would be something like driving like a c#*@, bilkng and possibaly maybe stealing as the copper did say it was a quick car.Strat wrote: What would naughty things involve?

Re: MASSIVE WARNING!!!!!!
They dont tend to pick the 'green' ones ....too conspicuous! plus my number plate is unique so wouldnt be much use to them.... VRM's are usually stolen to avoid paying the congestion charges ...or like JB says steal petrol, selecting the ones near to the motorways so they can make a quick escape....little B*******s

Re: MASSIVE WARNING!!!!!!
Im not sure what they checked but I was 50 yards from my house and I live down a dead end street (so unless you live there you've no reason to to drive up my road). So Im guessing after they did there quick checks they let my go, no check in the car they didnt even check my licence.182_blue wrote:Did they search the car ?, what actually did they check/do.
