weird dents
I've had my car since end of last october and i've cleaned and waxed it a couple of times - the last time i did i noticed small dents under the sills under the doors - one near each of the jacking points front and rear. It's the same on the other side. I've never noticed them before, and they don't look like stone chips/impact and they are pretty much parallel on both side. It's not been on any ramps or jacked up as far as i'm aware - just wondered if anyone else had noticed anything similar or any ideas what could have caused them? I suppose i'll have a hard job proving that they were there from day one!!

Re: weird dents
Haha - I've never even noticed them. Though this thread reminds me of a fella on the Boxster forum who asked why his 2-disc changer in the glovebox never worked. Possibly because on Boxsters theres a couple of old fashioned CD-storage slots in the glovebox. The guy got so upset by the mickey taking he threatened to leave the forum...

Re: weird dents
haha nah im sure there have been questions that give yours a run for the money, i only take the mick if i search and find the answer easily if i cant find it then i wouldnt expect someone else to. But yeah like Shaun says they are jack point markers hence the arrowish shape. In fact im going to start a thread to see what the worst question has been ...

Re: weird dents
I have read where a car owner took his car to the garage to have them look at a problem where every time they went round a corner there was a loud bang from the back of the car, turned out to be a bowling ball (iirc ) loose in the boot !!Matt989898 wrote:if you don't take the mickey, i'll never learn!!

Actually I thought those dents were where I was catching the sill with my stiletto heels. But don't tell the wife
