After a surprisingly short lead time (only ordered at end of January), I have collected my 2.0 TSI

In short, it's fantastic. Grip, responsiveness certainly much better than the old company car !
Love the truffle as it lifts the lighting level in the vehicle and makes a change form lava black look of past few cars I have had.
RNS510 is fairly intuitive and MFD excellent (although watch for wearing polaroid sunglasses as it can mask the view of the MFD, but not the RNS510). Dynaudio is very good. I have read posts where people have said that they are disappointed in bass levels. However, like home hi fi, the system provides deceptively high volume with no distortion. That can mean that the right volume level precludes conversation, but that can have its advantages depending on the passenger !
Dealer said to ensure warmed up (and the MFD has a digital oil temperature read out) and to avoid much above 45000 rpm for first 1000 miles. That enables generous motorway cruising speeds, but I have found that the responsiveness of the DSG can mean you exceed that unintentionally. Will have to go easy, but it's so tempting !
Tyre noise is more intrusive than I recall from the test drive, but after collecting the car I did cover concrete-section dual carriageway (always droney) plus the M40 (much of which is poorly surfaced anyway). Also on noise, the DSG-change exhaust note is cool, but I suspect that at truly high speeds say on an autobahn dash the exhaust note could get tiresome, but can always turn up the dynaudio !
Even after one day, static cornering lights and left hand reverse tilt mirror have saved me alloy scrapes (sadly I have to keep the car on the street). Also very impressed with the waves/thumbs up etc from Roc owners on the drive back to London.
Just the one photo so far -- wil try for something more arty in due course.
