Porsche take control of VW
Re: Porsche take control of VW
iroc is that an old article as I swore porsche have had control for a while.
Personally I dont think its a bad move as technology can be shared and porshe have been by far the most profitale car company in the world for a good couple of years.

No it's a new article. They had a share in VW but needed 35% to get control which they have now done.

You are correct been reading into it over the week.
Its amazing the way the world goes round where a neice super car builder suddenly becomes the most profitable car companies in the world and then takes control of one of the biggest car companies.

There has been some debate as to whether there will be a TT mk3 as the TT is seen as a competitor to the Boxter/Cayman.

porsche has had a part in vw for quite a while, they were 5% (i think) with the company quite a few years ago, hence the touareg and cayenne having the same chassis, it was only a matter of time before they had a bigger share
