Well god forbid ! It should be driven by a woman, when she should have been at home washing the dishes and chained to the kitchen sink.... Whatever next ?

Oh physical weight .. makes more sense i get the feeling we may see some carbon coming !! My biggest mistake was tripping out the GT with luxury's like heated seats !! If Recaro's werent so damn pricey i would swap them out.

Maybe i will take you round then we'll see who is scared :eyepop:

Do you need any special to partake in a track day? Helmet, gloves etc?

Car needs to be roadworthy! It needs to pass the static noise test (Wigit's was 80db or something at Combe so you're fine). Need to wear a crash helmet and clothing that covers your arm and legs.

Gloves and race boots are entirely optional but I wear them :D

You will get a briefing from the circuit chief before you go out for general rules on passing and flags etc.

But it's all good fun! Once you've done a track day then there's the Nurburgring road trip to do!

Cool ok .. do they provide the helmets? So with clothing does anything go as long as it covers? I mean jeans & jumper .. not a spandex suit !!

Will there be a SC Nurburg road trip?

Most places will hire out helmets for a fee. I have my own due to being a biker also.

Normal clothing is fine unless u intend to create some fireball action in which case yeah get the full stig meister look! :D

An SC Ring trip has been muted but nothing solid yet. Depends on how many people are interested in such a jaunt!

Handy as those things are a lumpy cost for just track days .. knowing my luck the only one left will be too small and bright pink !!

What do most people wear?

Depends how serious u want to be. Most turn up in jeans and long sleeve shirts as you're not out on track all day long!
The odd Hardcore tracker with serious machinery will be in race suits etc.
