Read the manual, check the pressures and press the button.

And next time use some common sense.

you may have only had it a couple of weeks but still could have a slow puncture :eyepop:

the button is probably in the glove box

Checked the tyres, no pressure drops in any of them. No reference to the button to reset in the manual that I can see. All it says is there could be a fault with the actualy system if the light is on.

The light comes on and stays on if there's a drop in pressure in one of the tyres. If you reset it (press and hold the reset button - which is in the top right hand corner of the glove compartment - until it bings and the warning light goes out ) and the light comes back on then that may indicate an issue with the system.

But you need to clear the light first off before you can determine whether it was a spurious reading or there's an issue (slow puncture / fault with the system).

the system doesn't actually work on detecting a pressure drop, it works on the abs sensor and rolling radius of wheel (which may be due to a pressure drop)

i'm assuming it got moved to glovebox to force people to stop and take a look rather than press reset in the outside lane of the M6

Mine did the same on its first motor way run .. like the guys say open the glove box you will see the button at the top in the corner .. hold this for a few seconds (i think it makes a blingish noise).

The fault with mine was the dealer had set the pressures but then adjusted them after for collection day so once they warmed up down the motorway ... I had STOP lights and beeps everywhere, you would think the wheel had come off !!

Took it to the nearest petrol station and like you it said all the pressures were fine. Reset the button and never heard anything since. Note the manual doesnt reference the button in the glovebox in my MY10.5 correctly i had to go looking for it.

True - I think I had a false warning one time when I went over a rough piece of road through roadworks, probably some sort of rut in the surface, as a few seconds after that the warning light came on. Checked as soon as I could get off the road and all pressures were fine, so I wondered whether the rut or whatever it was caused enough of a change in shape that the rolling radius changed. Bit odd whatever it was.

Coincidentally a few months later, warning came on again at the exact same spot (major roadworks and no real change in road surface condition) but this time there was a pressure drop in one of the tyres, yet I was tempted to ignore it thinking it was same as above. Glad I didn't.

I would get this investigated rathar than simply switching it off ( if that can even be done )

I had this on my last car a GTI and it was a lifesaver, it lets you know something is wrong long before you would know, im kicking myself for not speccing it on my current Roc, especially as its a £35 cost option!
