Recording onto the HDD

Post by CalumMcC »

Sorry if this is covered somewhere else in the forums, but i cant find it!!

Just picked up my Scirocco yesterday and have been playing around with the gadgets, but I cant find out how to record onto the HDD! The SD option is the only one that looks possible on the option list, but i dont have the ability to record onto an SD card on my computer!

Is it possible to record straight off a USB, IPOD or CD?

And also, on the HDD capacity menu it shows 18GB free and 0GB in use! Is this normal?! I thought it was a 30GB HDD!!!

Thanks for your help guys!!

Hi Calum, The 12GB of Hard drive that has disappeared is taken up by the navigation. As far as copying onto the HDD goes, it's been discussed before and i think the general consensus was SD card only. Can i suggest something along the lines of this (no affiliation!)

Beware! When you copy onto the HDD it takes an age!!!! But it can be done while using the system.
