Saturday Spin in the Silver [Pics]

Post by kiwicelt »

Picked up my 2.0 140 TDI on Tuesday. Only got a chance today to stretch it out on some mountain roads but so far, I think the reflex silver works well with the contours. It's a fairly stock model with only added parking sensors, but will be placing some Inovit DTM's on it next weekend and then seeing about fitting some Fiscon Bluetooth later in the year.

Really enjoying the added poke and the fuel economy doesn't hurt either. The sheep didn't know what was flying by them :)

Lovely images. Sure is a nice bit of landscape the Irish have got. Potential retirement country of mine. I love England, but it's just getting to crowded even in smaller towns. Theres great scenery, but you don't know how long for!

Cheers Ryy,
It's about the only thing free in this country these days but living on an island of 5 million as opposed 60 plus does sometimes have it's advantages ;)
No one on the road today.

Hi kiwicelt,
That's just showing off!
That road in first pic looks like a dream I've been having for years (since I got my Eos anyway)
Enjoy it mate.

John

Hi Kiwicelt.

Well Holy God. I'm not the only Scirocco Central member from Galway.

Congrats Kiwicelt, i have my Roc since last April and i still get a buzz every time i step in. :vibes:

Be prepared for plenty of admiring glances and if you ever park the Roc on the promenade in Salthill and go for a walk, be prepared for a crowd to have gathered around by the time you get back. :?

Hey Gunnertaz,
I've yet to see your Sumatra about the place but knowing the size of the city, it shouldn't be long. ;)
Loving it so far and am due to drive down to Waterford this weekend for some Inovits so it will get a good workout on the roads.

Still overprotective of the new arrival so would park it in Salthill and then watch from a distance like a helicopter parent. :)

It's hard to let go.
