Re: My black rocco finally arrived!
Thanks, sci-rocco.
Amazin, yes!
I'm currently breaking in the car now, and have 500km on the clock. Dealer told me to take it easy the first 1500 kilometers, so still have 1000 km left before I can drive him a little harder.

Re: My black rocco finally arrived!
Really?? No humidity at all as far as I've seen in my Roc so far. Heading out to wash in a bit and I'll check againkenti wrote:I finally picked up my rocco yesterday after four months of waiting!
Have driven him a litte bit, and are very satisfied so far. Both headlights and taillights get a bit of condensation inside them, but that's normal as I understand..

Hi there!
Grats on your new car!, looking superb!
Picked up my car the 13th december - loving everday since ^^
Do you know what happends with your R-spoiler missing? Got the standard spoiler my self as a replacement until a final solution is figured out. Atm VW wants me to install a Votex roof spoiler looking well ehh...
Give me a headsup when ever you are not out enjoying your ride!

Re: My black rocco finally arrived!
Hi.
Thanks, and congrats back at ya!
Love the car like a baby, but the damn amount of snow now a days keeps it in the garage!
I was told by my dealer that i'd get the R-spoiler as soon as it's available. VW said something about summer-time.
What does the votex-spoiler look like?
Roc on!

Re: My black rocco finally arrived!
Strange, my dealer wont really discuss waiting to summer for the R-spoiler to be available again.
Here's the picture i got from my dealer: Not the kind of thing id want on my R-line. Maybe if i had a Concept R or something then maybe..
Didnt find it very attractive, and it seems VW didnt either as they have a fully specced Votex Scirocco on their accessories brochure, but with the standard roofspoiler

Re: My black rocco finally arrived!
I thought it was that one, but wasn't completely sure. That votex spoiler isn't exactly my cup of tea either.
I confronted my dealer about it as soon as I found out about the spoiler-change on the forum. This also applies to the 'R' as you know. My dealer has been very forthcoming (that's the reason I also bought my second car there), but wasn't aware of this change. He contacted the product manager for Golf/Scirocco in VW Norway, and after a couple of days the dealer replied that they'd change the spoiler for free when it's available. I don't know if it's the dealer or VW that has to pay for this though. Might seen it's your dealer since they want you to go for the votex? Anyhow, I'd try to confront your dealer again about it. I made it pretty clear that I wasn't very happy with VW changing the spoiler without telling me when they confirmed what was going on. Hope it sorts out for you!

Re: My black rocco finally arrived!
Was at the dealer today and changed the mp3/usb cable with cable for ipod/iphone. The spec list says "Media-in with i-pod adapter included", but be aware when the dealer specs your car from his/her computer. It seems like Media-in only lists usb-cable at their computer system.

You also have it because it's standard on the cars here in Norway among other northern countries, as apposed to the UK models.
It's heated front seats, headlamp washers & heated washer jets + washer fluid warning light.
