Hi, i went to plug my tom tom in the other day only to find the in-car 12 volt power point doenst work. I went to my local dealer to get it sorted and they said if it was the fuse they would have to charge me as they are not under warranty (being the season of good will!!!!) So i stomped off and decided to fix it myself.
Does anyone have a fuse diagram or know the location for the 12volt supply..
Also without thinking i took a fuse out without really paying any attention and i'm not sure if i've put it back in the right one... There is a row with only 2 yellow fuses in it was one of those.
Idiot i know
Thanks
Dom

Re: 12volt Charger in the Car
If you are meaning the Dash Fuse Box, then the third row up from the bottom should be:
Front to Rear as looked at with door open.
- Empty
- Empty (Green 30A if sunroof fitted only)
- Blue 15A
- Yellow 20A
- Empty (Yellow 20A if headlight washers are fitted only)
- Green 30A
- Yellow 20A
- Empty
If you are trying to get them working without the ignition ON, it is normal. They run off the "X- relief Relay" which requires the ignition to be switched on. I've noticed there is voltage without ignition but I think that is circuit leakage. This available voltage doesn't appear to be able to drive plug-in ancilliaries.
The two sockets are fused on the 2nd row up from the bottom.
Again, Front to Rear as looked at with door open.
- Orange 40A (if fitted)
- Blue 15A
- Yellow 20A Centre Console & Boot 12v sockets Fuse 42.
- Empty
- Empty
