37. I would have thought that it was more logical to have had the brackets as 'under 20', 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44 etc...(ie 'early 30s, late 30s..)
PS This has nothing to do with the fact that that way I would NOT be bracketed with the 40 year olds!
That is soooo fantastic - thank you so much for that! And the number plate too.... If you ever decide to sell - let me know!
The engine was (as I remember) amazingly flexible - but then it was a V6 with a 4 gear box + overdive on 3 & 4 (via a flick switch on the gear knob). In a straight line it went like sh** off a shovel, but around corners - just frightening!!! The one I drove belonged to my Dad, He bought it in 1967 for £700 and it was primrose yellow. I did manage to crunch it once - changing the casette on the portable tape recorder I had jerry-rigged into the radio. I also remember my dad encouraging me (at 18) to 'give it some' on the M1. We went past Luton/Dunstable (A505 interchange) at well over 100 on the clock....
Anyway - enough reminscing from an old fart. I am nor one of those people who lusts after the cars of yesteryear. The 'roc is just bloody knockout (My dad would love her if he were alive...!)
