Has anyone else experienced this on a 160 TSI:-
I can pull away from a junction and sometimes the acceleration is very poor, just dies between gear changes.
My VW Dealer has checked it (over 3 days!!) and it did do it once when they test drove it, but the computer says there's nothing wrong and VW are not aware of a problem, so my dealer has just said ''see if the problem developes''
I've only done 1500 miles and it does drive superbly most of the time.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Re: Occasional Loss of Power
Since July my car has been in 5 times for a total of over 6 weeks+ for a misfire and loss of power! I'm so sick of it that i have traded it in but my new car doesnt arrive for 5 weeks yet. You aren't the only one certainly........misfires seem a bit too common on this engine. I have had 2 software updates, head gasket, coil pack and new injectors but still isn't fixed. I'm about due to blew the polo courtesy car up! It's horrible...........3 cylinders. I'm thinking i must be due some compensation. Anyway........rant over :-)
