Anything to get interested about, my car is due to get a build date any time and want to know if there is anything that will make my 4months wait worth it!!
as per akuji's post here [on page 8 of this thread], helpfully titled week 45 changes ;)

This might sound silly but can you some how switch the bluemotion technology off. To make it a normal running car ?

The bluetooth tech is part of the car:
- Low resistance tyres (you could get new tires)
- Start / Stop engine off on stop (believe you can turn it off)
- Changed gear ratios (you could remap I believe, but its not a big deal anyways)

Not quite. For the Scirocco, the BlueMotion Technology means:

-Start-stop-system (Can be turned off, although I think this is automatically turned on every time you start the car.)
-Recuperation (Can't be turned off by the driver.)
-Friction-optimized crank shaft (I guess you could have it changed, but why would you want to?)

So no changed gear ratios or special tyres (according to the German site). Also, no improved aerodynamics.

Does anyone know if VW are planning to add the LED DRL to the light casing as the did with the gti 6?

They come standard with the xenons.

Something like this:

I have a question about the spec list. I believe I have a week 29 MY 2011 UK 'Roc so I gather I should have:-

"* Flat tyre indicator fitted as standard on cars with 17" and 18" wheels."

However I do not seem to have a Flat Tyre 'Set' button down by the ACC controls. Am I missing something or have I misunderstood?

On the latest models the button was relocated to the glove box. Have you checked there?

Also, you'll know if you have it as the tyre symbol will light up in the dash for a few secs when you switch on the ignition

That's funny, My BM Scirocco delivered in the netherlands (I live there) doesn't have the Start/Stop button, or I must be blind

The stop/start button is only for keyless entry... automatic engine stop/start is a button less feature but IIRC there will be a bluemotion badge on the back.

Edit: Sorry, my bad. Mixed up two different things in my head:

a)The engine start/stop button that comes with the keyless entry, as you stated.
b)The button for the start-stop-system in BMT models, which is located in the row of buttons found in front of the gear stick.
