Scirocco r ordered! Looong wait now begins!

Just ordered my new car today..rising blue with the 19's was a tough choice between the blue and candy White!!

Decided for a change In colour as I drive a nurburgring VXR at the moment which is White!
Scirocco r ticked the right boxes for me as its got the looks IMO and has had good reviews!

Long wait till March/April delivery date!

So keep the pictures coming to get me through the long wait!!

I ordered my R 14 Aug 2010 and got an unconfirmed build week 3 2011. Had the same last year when I ordered my GT in June 2009 and finally got it 9 Dec. VW likes to keep us waiting.

Yeah I have my second GT on order from a large VW dealer where I know the sales manager. I asked about a Scirocco R and his view was i'll order you one but don't have a clue when you will see it. He was saying most people who have ordered have cancelled due to such a long wait...

Not confirmed delivery date, was just a rough estimate of march/april delivery.

Not looking forward to the wait, looks like theres delays aswell

Typical delivery is 8 months from order now on manuals and 10 months for DSG according to my dealer, I ordered mine in may '10 now looking at unconfirmed week 2 '11 production thus delivery 1st march.

I ordered BW 14, just had confirmation today that I am confirmed BW 49. I guess likely to see it in January sometime.

Dealers said that it would arrive in february ,end of february but can be mars end of mars y Cant wait for my Black SR
