Does anyone know the best place to get hold of Candy White touch up paint from? Need to sort out a tiny stone chip.

Lacquer with candy white paint? Surely only the metallics and pearls come with lacquer.

Assuming the solid colours don't have lacquer, you'll just get the one paint stick and I think it's about £3.70 (My Dad just got one for his Tornado Red Golf, and that definitely didn't have lacquer with it.

No mine is definitely lacquer and paint, i have it sat in front of me, the solid colors (VW range) are all sprayed with a lacquer on top of the paint

Knew the Scirocco was given a clear coat on solid colours so was surprised when I was given a single stick but its gloss not base paint.

yeh its probably easier with the gloss version, as with mine you had to add the lacquer as it just looked mat without it, trouble is the first blob of base white usually filled the hole not leaving any space for the lacquer :p

All you got to do is order the 0U1 instead of 0U2 in the middle of the part number. Done a couple of chips and the match is perfect with the single stick. (Which wasn't the case with my Alpine White previous White Mk2 S.)
