Got my spare alloys refurbed

Post by Shaun »

Well i got myself a brand new set of OEM Scirocco R alloys , i have now took them to the wheelspecialist in Nottingham and had them recolored in Charcoal anthracite, i have to say i am very impressed with both the service and finish , they turn them around in one day, and the finish is superb, nice flake to the finish and a lovely wet deep gloss which is exactly what i asked for :D, they even paint the wheel weights to match :thumb:.
I was tempted to have them done black but thought it too extreme, although i might just get my winter wheel done in this colour.

Anyway if your in the Nottingham area and want a refurb i cant recommend Mark at Nottingham WS enough :thumb:

And just up against the car to give me an idea

please note the marks on the alloy are just the gunk they mount the tyres with :thumb:

Perfect blue! Definitely think black would've been too harsh in your case

as i said on mk5 love the colour and gets a big thumbs up from me make the car far more aggressive and keep the detail that is lost with gloss black, just get em slapped on and get some springs :)

car is really coming together with the little tweaks

OK, got them on, just a shame the sun didnt hit them as they look quite dark in pictures, went out and did the old looking at shop windows to see what they looked like and they look very shiny and reflective :-)

forgive the ride height, i had just dropped it off the jacks
