Hi
I have noticed that the left tail pipe ( facing the rear bumper) is always cold, while the right tail pipe is normal temperature ( and hot when on a long motorway run). Is this normal for the "R" or specific to mine. Perhaps the left tail pipe is for show only and all the exhaust gasses are routed through the right.
R
My dealer has no idea, I think I am the first "R" they have sold.
Cheers

The left pipe has a flap that is vacuum controlled. It opens depending on the loading of the engine.
So if you're just cruising on motorway at say 3k rpm in 6th gear the left pipe stays shut. Only the right side pipe is open 100% of time.

As an example, can you see how caked up the left pipe is on my car?

So it does work! you just have to drive it properly that's all
