Post by monkeyman »

My car tax is due at the end of the month and i still haven't had the government letter through with how much the 2nd year tax disc is. How much is it and what do you have to bring if you dont have the letter. I can't remember. :D

Do it online. If you haven't received the letter you will need the V5 ref number and the VRM

The car's on Motability so everything is free but fuel for up to 20K a year. I do around 13K. My other means of "transport" is a wheelchair, as I lost my left leg above the knee in an accident over 3 yrs ago. I also have Bowel Cancer, which spread to my right Kidney and brought on my early retirement from work.

The medics say I'll see this Christmas but not the next, so the Scirocco will be my final car. I've been waiting 12 weeks and was told on Friday it'll be another 6... Seems no point on spending a load on performance kit, as I don't know how long I'll be able to drive. So it's standard 1.4 TSi 160 DSG for me.
