got to say those wheels dont do it for me but as you have said before, they cost you nothing so I can see why you put them on. Like the Cf badges but not the price you paid so again not for me, and what the F*%k are you doing with those red dangly things on the mirror ? Thats for the vauxhall corsa brigade along with the dump valve.

On a positive note, looks good lowered (mines on KW's as well)
Nice number plate, can I ask why it has a Deutschland D in the euro bit as its a UK registered car is it not.
Quality pics all round though, loving the pic taken at road level where the stones in the road 6 inches away are in focus as well

At the end of the day its each to their own, hope your enjoying the car mate and no offence meant, just my opinion. Feel free to call me a boring old fart :D
Taken delivery : Silver, DSG, NAV, Black Leather, Park Sensors, Winter pack.

Nice pictures Ryan, just a little word of warning though, as 'sir_roco' says, your number plate, dont think it will be long till your pulled over for that. The spacing is incorrect and European fonts on a UK car is illegal.

Dont want to be a killjoy, but you know what they are like!

Wheels really suit the car and the ride height is spot on too! What is the drop and is the ride quality much different from the standard springs? Also how much was it to fit the springs? Cheers.

Very smart, not sure on the thing hanging from the rearview mirror, but when I'm pushing on, anything that mucks with my line of site I hate lol!! also I like the idea of the german plates but as has been said, the plod are hot on the case, they have even banned people from selling show plates etc so be careful as if you are caught you can face upto a £2,500 fine, it use to be a greay area but in September just gone they have now made it illegal

Ryan

Well smart and loving the black wheels against the Candy white - carbon badges are also very smart but I'm with sir_rocco I wouldn't have paid what you had to for them; especially as mine is black and no-one would ever have seen them!!!

Got to agree with the guys though get rid of the boxing gloves mate you look like a corsa driver!!!

Roc On!!

as for the comments about the boxing gloves, thats "my thing", i do a bit of boxing so there staying so nerrrr lol

as i said on the other thread i like to be different, thats why the wheels are dark grey (same colour as the "sporty" series of cars from renault) and are 19" rs4 wheels on the rear and a6 ones on the front (rs4 ones are wider incase you dont know). and thats why there stretched more on the rear so they sit inside the bodywork.

i think the carbon fibre badges would only really work on a white car, because it helps to break the colour up on it

i know it is illegal and the car is on german style plates because i like the look of them and once again makes the car look different, police are quite hot around my area and i havent been stopped yet

as for the springs the ride quality is like putting the car in sports mode when it is in comfy mode, and when it is in sports mode its like its a race car (i kid you not) ride is quite harsh but it handles amazing, i have never beeen in such a good handling fwd car.

EDIT: oh yeah and the springs cost me just over 200 pounds, and it cost nothing to fit, im a dab hand at mechanical work, and i work in a bodyshop so a lift was used aswel :D

cheers for the good bad and ugly comments

Hi Ryan,

Car looks super although the jury is out on those boxing gloves!

Just wondering if off hand you still remember the correct diameter sizes for the front and rear VW badges?

Cheers

cant remember actully, but i know that these badges are unique for the scirocco (at the moment anyway) i havent seen another model with the same size/curve badges, thats why i had to buy brand new badges and send them to america to be custom made in carbon, thanks, ryan.

I'm a big fan of black/dark wheels on white cars, looks very smart. I almost went for the Cupra K1 in white with black wheels instead of the Roc.

CF Badges and drop also looks briliant, although like you said, the badges are definitely a white Roc only thing.

Only thing I'm not so sure about now is the look of the brakes. If they're properly visible then I always like them to really fill the wheel. I guess the standard alloys disguise them a bit more due to the colour and design, whereas they stand out much more with the rs4/a6 wheels.

funny you should mention that, as i have allready been looking into bigger brakes, when i get some money sorted out, a set of rs4 brakes will be getting put on ;)

Mine is on KW lowering springs, drops it about 30mm. Simple job of take the standard springs out and replace with the new shorter springs.

Ryan, re the feel of the lowered springs, I can concur that in comfort mode now the car feels like the old sport mode. Bit of a trade off for comfort versus better stance.
