Warning Triangle

Post by Nornironman »

I know it seems petty. The warnng triangle and the first aid kit didn't appear in my new car I picked up Wednesday. I called the dealer and said it must have been an oversight. Yet, he claims these are options in the UK and are not part of the standard kit?

Is this right?

yes that is right, if you read the specification in the brochure they do not appear as standard equipment. it is not a legal requirement to carry them in the UK therefore they do not have to provide them. they have to make extra money out of us somehow

I got both with mine, the triangle was already clipped in its housing inside the boot, the first aid kit came with a Powder fire extinguisher too.
