The first scuff!
...curbed the passenger rear alloy whilst parking up in a multistory today, what a great start to the day
Is strange thought as i didnt think i was anywhere near the curb when driving up the ramp. Gonna have a little look when i go home to see if there was anything poking out! Might well have just been me being half asleep...
Its so annoying tho, its only a small dig but feels like my baby is tarnished now. These alloy repair places, do they normally charge the same fee regardless of how big or small the damage is?

Mate I have done the same!!! And some idiots have put 4/5 small scratches down the passenger side. However as you can't feel them I hope they will polish out! ! So annoying! Let me know where you go for an alloy repair!

Ahh mate its put me on a downer! lol
Ill let you know what i find out, might be able to get a discount if we get someone to come out and do both wheels.
If those scratches are slight and u cant feel them then im sure they will just polish out fella, some people have no respect for others property!!!!!!!

Re: The first scuff!
I think unless your alloy is in seriously bad shape then the charge for alloy repair is pretty much a standard charge per wheel.

Yeh, think ill have to weigh up whether its worth doing once ive given the wheel a clean.
£50 for a small dig seems a bit ott!

Re: The first scuff!
Why dont you go and purposely scuff the crap out of it!?
Then it will make the £50 easier to justify

Re: The first scuff!
I fixed a kerbed alloy last year on my Rex.
Gently ground off the burr with a dremel type thing.
Applied some filler
Sanded off with a fine grade sanding sponge. (Moulds to the shape of the rim)
Touched up with primer and paint by brush.
It was a silver painted alloy.
It looked okay and it stopped me crying.
