MFD Menu options

Post by boyzie »

Hi everyone

Are the MFD options (eg 'convenience') talked about in the manual only available in certain models. I can flick from the different screens on the mfd using the rocker but it provides info only. There are no options or menus.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I can only go on my current Seat Leon, which allows you to see the SETUP only when not moving. It is then you click and hold the rocker swithc for it to go in to "MFD", RADIO, PHONE, SETUP
not sure if that helps as its 2 weeks til my roc arrives for me to compare.....

you're correct boyzie, us with the 1.4 (& no highline comp) only get info (mpg for trip & distance, etc etc etc) in the manual it goes into great detail regarding the highline mfd with all its menus (not terribly bright on vw's part)

it confused me abit when i got mine too

hey guys...only just got my 1.4 160ps and realised that I should have got the multi function steering wheel so that it had all the other options on the MFD.

Does anyone know if the multi function wheel can be retro fitted??

It's not just the wheel you also need the highline computer and I'm not sure how easy or costly that would be to retro fit.

You can do it, not so cheap though but they do come up on eBay sometimes
