Will the last guy be able to get this out or does it looks more work than those type of repair places do? Reckon I'll need a new bumper? This is the first time I've done this to a car. Just scratched it right down my parents wall when reversing off it.
Think I've made more damage when I've had to drive forward to come back onto the drive. As you can see under the arch/edge of the paintwork is pretty badly done to.

can't help on who to try but can tell you vw would probably make you sell a kidney to fix it, you could give chips away a try too.
can't hurt to at least get a quote from 1 or 2 & see if they think they can get a decent result
A decent bodyshop should be able to sort that rather than replace the whole bumper. Personally I'd take it to a proper bodyshop rather than using a smart repair company on something like that.

Dont use smart repairs for that, will never look right imo, get a proper body shop to quote you, try and find a recommended one by someone who has used them

I've got it booked in with a local body shop after a recommendation. £120 they've estimated so a lot less than I thought it would be (I was expecting probably double that).
Just hope they do as good a job as I think they will.
