Driver seems a bit tense! Looked like he was gonna burst a blood vessel gripping the steering wheel like that. And why did he have the DSG in full auto? Boring!!! :D

driver is shit... holding the steering wheel far too tight and hands aren't far enough apart.
also looks like he hasn't got tyhe best seating setup... shouldn't be allowed a roc R, i think he should give it to me lol

At least he is out there on track doing it, easy to take a shot when you haven't been out there

i'd probably be packing spare underwear for when I venture

Yeah fair play to the guy, he seems to be giving it all *he's* got.

I'm going in August -I think I'll spend most of the time being overtaken... :p

I think he's done really well - he's clearly not a professional driver and he's just turned up for the Tourist laps (Touristenfahrten) a 9:05 time is very good. I been a few times now and it is one of the best things you can do if you are a petrolhead. It's bl00dy mental - you can be approaching a blind corner at 100 mph then see a coach or a van or a campervan or worse someone hit the armco.

If you're planning a trip have a look at ben lovejoys site tells you everything you need to know. http://www.nurburgring.org.uk/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; as well as http://www.nuerburgring.de/en/nuerburgr ... rdschleife" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; (to make sure the track is open for when you're going sounds obvious but some people have made the trip when it's closed). Worth practicing on Forza 3 or Gran Turismo just to know the track layout and maybe watch a few laps on You Tube.

Don't bother with a stopwatch.Be prepared for the track to keep closing / reopening due to accidents. Consider road legal track tyres Mich Sport Cups / Toyo 888s / Pirelli Trofeo / Yokohama A048s. And take it steady!
