In The Rain – Sumatra Scirocco

Post by Searchin4aRoc »

Went along to the dealers to have a first look at my new buggy this afternoon.

Not the weather for photos (and with nothing done to the car apart from (most) of the protective cover removed from the bonnet) ... but here goes! :p

A really interesting colour Sumatra. Its several different colours in one. Good choice, and a bit different from the norm.

Thanks, guys.

I went back to tie up a few loose ends with the salesman tonight - only to discover that a trio of prospective buyers went through the door to speak to him first. He was 'holding the fort' alone tonight, so I had a wait on my hands!

Got the keys to the wagon, inspected it inside and out, and took further photos:

So much choice ... and with a Scirocco, can any of the choices really be wrong?!

I like this car in so many colours!

Should be able to pick mine up on Friday / Saturday this week.

The wire fence behind the car made too cool a pattern on the badge for me to ignore it.

I do like the Sumatra, and I'm itching to get a plate on it and get it home :hyper:

Mind you, I like almost every colour in which this car comes :D ... and never tire of people posting up pics of their machine on the Forum.

Congrats
I'm happy with it :D ... though I saw my first two Rising Blues on the road on Monday past, plus a further two Candy Whites, ... they all look amazing!

I know my colour won't stand out in traffic to the same degree - and traffic jams are the order of the day in the stretches of road immediately around my house at the moment - but I'm still interested to see what kind of attention it generates.

My friends have formed a queue in the desire to drive it after I take delivery of it
