WEEK 28 and BUILD DURATION?

Hi Everyone

I have been told my new Roc is scheduled for Week 28. Can anyone tell me when Week 28 starts and how long it takes to actually build and get out the factory and ready to be shipped?

Excuse me if this topic has been covered before, I am new on here. Thanks.

Hi pikkewyn :welcome:

It is currently build week 27, week 28 will start on Monday 12th July. Build week is shown at the top of the page on this forum.

Sciroccos seem to take approximately 3-4 weeks from build date to collection by customer :yes:

Thanks for the reply iAmbu, I have been given a delivery date of end August (but never know how accurate that is!) so that allows for 3 weeks shipping to Cape Town as well.

Hopefully thee is no delay in the shipping. Thanks again!

no that is based on a uk order pikkewyn
unfortunately just the shipping to SA takes a good few weeks & the car has to wait for the next scheduled ship

see & ask here for when the next ship is due heading in that direction

Thanks Trix, but end August is 7 weeks away from (12.07 week 28) so delivery might be close to the end of August, or how long does shipping take to South Africa?

the last boat took 3 weeks ish to port elizabeth once loaded but i don't know when there is a boat scheduled for after week 28 it may be days later it may be a week or two :shrug:

MY BUILD WEEK IS 28, BUT I GOT TOLD ITD BE SEPT TILL I GET MY CAR? COULD IT COME IN AUG TRIX? TY

it should be 3-4 weeks from factory to dealer & collection then which would take you to the middle of Aug, 2 weeks before the new plates come out.
are you really going to take delivery & be the guy driving round in the new car 2 weeks before the new registrations appear? 6 weeks yes but 2 weeks i think not
