Hi,
Is it true that after a certain length of wait time VW will provide you with a courtesy car?
If this is the case does anyone know what it is?

Re: Courtesy Car
DO you mean after ordering a new car? If yes then the answer is no. Thats why they only give approx delivery dates.

Re: Courtesy Car
MB is correct - VW are under no obligation to supply you a courtesey car.
However, you can try and 'negotiate' one.
I had one for about six weeks, all I had to do was insure it. It's all down to the relationship you have with the dealer.
I told my dealer right from the word go that my existing car had to be returned on a given date. The date I ordered my 'Roc was weeks before that so there should have been no problem. However I got caught up in the Diesel/DSG shortage last autumn so the delivery date was put back & back & back! Because of this delay my dealer agreed to provide me with a car as a gesture of goodwill.

.... I smile because I have no idea of what's going on ....
Re: Courtesy Car
I was advised by VWCS that if you have to wait longer than 20 weeks, then they will supply you with a courtesy car. Not sure if this applies to all cars/orders.
