Does iPhone 4 work hands-free with Roc Bluetooth?

Post by travelman »

Has anyone got the new iPhone 4 yet? I would be really interested to know if it works with the built-in bluetooth. My last phone upgrade saw me go for the Nokia N97 Mini which works perfectly well with the car, it was just a shame because I really wanted to opt for an iPhone.

Cheers!

Apple are highly unlikely to ever add the rsap functionality to the iphone (imo) seeing as its Nokia technology & they are happily sueing each other every other day of the week at the moment

This, but the answer will be no anyway. The Roc doesn't us the normal bluetooth protocol. As trix has mentioned, it uses a bastardised interface whereby it effectively 'hijacks' the sim card in the phone and this is a patented Nokia technology. That; combined with Apple's stubbornness with software feature requests, means it'll be very unlikely that we'll ever see it.
