scirocco r spare wheel

hey folks
i have a scirocco r with 19" wheels. it came with the foam kit instead of a space saving spare wheel. i wanna get a spare wheel. do i have to get a special 19" spare wheel or will a spare wheel from a gt do the trick ie prob for 18" wheels?

is there any spare parts numbers i need or any prices or for sale about?

a space saver spare wheel from a gt/standard scirocco would do the job fine & fit the spare wheel well in your boot. don't know the part number or price unfortunately but if you go in & ask for a space saver wheel then they shouldn't be too confused on what you want.

when you have larger alloy wheels the outer circumference of the wheel does not change, the wheel center gets bigger & the tyre profile gets smaller. if you were to change the circumference of the wheel your speedo would be out.

i might do the same and swap the foam kit for a proper space saver, even if it weighs more.

Is the tyre inflation kit any useful, is it worth having a spare tyre in the back?

if the one you are getting is a newer one then it might have a spare wheel anyway as a space saver instead of the tyre foam came in during the week 22 updates iirc
