Completely disagree. Take cost out of the equation and leather will always be better than cloth on a car. Who can honestly say that if they had the choice and expense wasn't a factor that they would rather have cloth than leather????

Me. The GT I test drove had black leather and I didn't like it one bit - to my eyes the cloth on the Scirocco looks a lot better - but I accept I may be in the minority on this. The leather option on the Scirocco is also very expensive compared to other similarly priced cars.

I didnt oreder leather but it was more to do with the fact I felt the VW leather was over priced compared to what could be done aftermarket. I also belice leather shold have been standard on the R.
