Mucky Tailpipes!

Can anyone help? my tailpipes have lost their lovely shine and no matter how much i clean them they are still turning black? any ideas?

drnick,

afraid you will have to live with it mate. At this time of year the external trims get dirty oh so quick and with the salt on the roads its best to polish them regularly else it becomes a pain later. I use either autosol or megs metal polish.

The black soot inside the pipes is something you cannot do anything with other than carry a set of cloths in the boot and give the innards a wipe every couple of days.

With pipes like these though who would not want to clean em....lol

Autosol everytime. If you really want to do a pucker job get a dremmel!
