Options - Mirrors and seats??

Post by Vibester »

Has anybody got the above on the R? They are the only two options I have not specced...

Can you advise if you think it was value for money and secondly, if they have any 'hidden extras' i.e mirror heating etc only comes with folding mirrors?

Thanks..... Just realised I have about 9 weeks until build any I better finally make my mind up!

the mirrors are heated on all models regardless of folding or not, & I hope you've specced some seats otherwise you'll struggle to see over the dashboard ;)

Haha... I went for the cheaper deck chair option....

To clarify, the electric seats option!

I went for folding mirrors! Only £135 quid and as the roc is a phat bugger having auto folding mirrors is handy.
Didn't go for electric seats...unnecessary extra weight lol

The folding mirrors are good value imo......i think they add puddle lights to the underside of the mirror and the reverse mirror down function, but i could be wrong!!

I went for the electric seat too, yes im a greedy bugger, i think they're a bit overpriced, should be both front seats for that price...but with regards to the functionality,it's excellent and gives a much wider range of seating positions with much less effort.

only issue i have with electric seat is no memory and very slow, if people use the rear often its a pain in the a#se, would i spec it again, probably not

folding mirrors i would spec again all be it the puddle lights are useless as when retracted illuminate the top of the door rather than floor

do the mirrors auto fold out, i.e on opening or ignition, the reason i ask is I have a tight car port, where the fold would help but certainly not if it auto folds out...

you have to action the mirrors folding or unfolding vibester, its an additional function on the mirror alteration & heating stalk on the drivers door.

Quick question - does the fabric seat come with lumber adjustment - can't tell from the brochure?

I went for the electric seats purely for the lumbar support - worth every penny if you do alot of miles or get a bad back from time to time.

The remap and the VWR filter - are well worth the fork out!!
