Candy 2.0 TSI + Black Lugano style pack
My car arrived at dealer yesterday, so I went this morning to have a look and sort out some other things. There gonna try and get it for me Monday evening, but if not, it will be Tuesday. Car hasnt been cleaned or anything, so looks a little dirty.
It looks fantastic. Sorry for poor photos, took them on my phone and was quite bright. You dont get the full affect of the white with black wheels, but in person they look the nuts. Salesman said its one of the best looking cars they've had.
Cant wait for it. Got boot liner and premium sills arriving Tuesday for it. Will get some propper photos when I have the car.

Can we get a better profile picture of the car, aka the rims from far, cause from close they look a a bit weird, but do love the interior, good work

Cheers. I tried, but they where packed so close I could just about get through and sit in. A side on photo got more of another car than my one.
I'll get some photos with my Canon 400D this week.

I'm surprised that the triangle door handles on the inside are in silver, but I suppose it still matches in with the inlays on the steering wheel. I wonder if the black door handles from the R are the same colour as the rest of the black dash inlays?

Cheers. I get it tomorrow afternoon. Will get some good photos.
I thought that myself when I first saw the pack. But I quite like it on the wheel. Always hated the silver / aluminium trim on all cars. On my current car I have black gloss inserts (new corsa), and the bits on the doors get very scratched, so its better that way I think.

Re: Candy 2.0 TSI + Black Lugano style pack
Got the car this afternoon. Completely over the moon, its fantastic. Looks amazing and handles so well. Such a contrast from my last car (08 1.4 corsa, lol). Just got to get use to it all. Took it for a few short trips and went out for 45 mins this evening. Even keeping it below 4000rpm and half throttle the power is noticable over the 1.4 160 I tested. Attracts attention as well.
Two quick photos off my phone earlier. This weekend I plan to got for a longer drive(s) and take some photos.
Bi-xeons are brilliant, as are the cornering lights. Also worth noting I have got Dunlop Sport Maxx GT tyres.

WOW! i want mine to look like that! i was planning to get my rims painted but it probably wouldnt look as good
I'm also planning to get my side mirrors painted to glossy black or otherwise i will wrap them with matte black vinyls. Plus i wanna get a black vinyl over the roof too. any suggestion? and would the paint come off easily from the rims if i have them painted in black?

Re: Candy 2.0 TSI + Black Lugano style pack
If your in the UK I know a place in South East which does good powder coating and wheel finishes. Either way, if someone does a good job, shouldnt have any paint come off.
Personally, I'd get a vinyl on your wing mirrors. If you dont like them, can just take it off. Again, someone who specialises in car wraps will be able to do a good 'seemless' job.
Cheers! =)
P.S. I havent forgotten about pictures. Just there hasnt been much good weather, espcially weekends, so the cars dirty and Im not gonna take pictures in the rain (they'll look crap). Hopefully get all my stuff from autoperfection this week and clean it at weekend, then do some photos.

Re: Candy 2.0 TSI + Black Lugano style pack
Didn't see this post until a few minutes ago.
As chance would have it, I was negotiating a deal with a VW outfit yesterday. They have just taken delivery of a White Roc with Black Lugano style pack.
I took a few photos - not the greatest pics, but some more to add to the collection for this car.

Re: Candy 2.0 TSI + Black Lugano style pack
Had no internet for almost two weeks. Cleaned the car just after then. Done some photos with Canon G9. Auto perfection products very good.
Very pleased with car. 1000 miles on it today. Once the tyres are warm, the front end has so much grip. Feels so planted, and letting the engine rev up and through some bends is fantastic.
Drove the 2.3 BMW Z4 (10 plate) earlier. Nice car, but the steering is light - which I dont like. Feels nibble though. Good all round. Wouldnt buy one unless I wanted to cruise around the pose. Reckon my 210 TSI has more power. Z4's V6 power delivery is different, but the Roc has much more urgency. Scirocco is a much better car.
Gonna drive the 5 series Gran Turismo tomorrow hopefully. Not sure what one though, but think its the top end one. The sales woman isnt even allowed to drop it off.
Couldnt get an M3 for the weekend. BMW UK dont have any demo ones.

Some photos from two different track days this year. Done the full GP circuit at Brands, an awesome circuit.

Urge anyone tempted to go on track to go for it. Get some tuition and have fun. The car is simply fantastic.
